Thanks for the tunes. I was at the Col that night. I was about to turn 15 in November. I hitchhiked over from Moline. IL. I didnt have 5 bucks but thought i might get in. We listened from outside on the west side entrance doors by the parking lot. We could hear it all very well. RIP Jimi thanks for coming to the famous Col Ballroom.

Been loving jimi since 1976 all i can say is wow i listened to red house at the 2hr 51 minute mark i believe great version when i get time ill definitely listen to it all ty then i listened to spanish castle magic at 2:41 you see the problem with listening to jimi is nothing else compares in my opinion

I went to that concert. Walked 32.2 miles in the Miles for Millions walk that same day. Got home, cleaned up, caught the bus and subway and made it just in time!! What a wall of amps and sound. Amazing.

I was at that concert for the afternoon matinee. Crazy World of Arthur Brown was on afterwards Their evening concert was cancelled in respect of Brian Epstein's death that day. Crazy world of age

Wow! What a find. I love when he just stands there and blows minds without all the shuckin’ and jivin’. This was a spectacular gig right around the time I saw him at the Royal Albert Hall. I will always miss him.

It's weird to see some anxiety in him in this one. Like some songs are strong but you can tell he was not feeling it. He seemed unhappy with the tone and the tuning stability of his guitar. It's also interesting how many times he adjusts the presence and hi channel of his marshall plexis. He was searching for something and it feels like he fought it most the concert. Noel seems to also notice. It seems like the hi and mids just were not coming through. I wonder if this is what was bothering him.
